Long Way Home Pit Bull Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes pit bull type dogs. While our foster-based rescue operates out of Texas, we have conducted adoptions all over the country and even into Canada. We partner with shelters, veterinary clinics and independent rescuers to provide high quality veterinary care, nutrition and physical and mental stimulation to pit bull type dogs desperately in need of a second chance, while carefully and intentionally screening for adoptive homes.
